FOR VISIBLE SCREW HEADS

A wooden deck is often screwed directly onto wood structural beams. To avoid problems in the long run, it is better to use the Hapax D-Pro.

• It seperates the structural beams and the decking. If there is a small difference in thickness of the joist or the decking, the Hapax D-Pro pad compensates for that difference.
• The pad provides an ideal ventialtion between the decking and the structure. By using this pad, you avoid moisture from settling between the wood and you prolong the life span of your deck.
• Furthermore, the Hapax D-Pro provides an accoustic seperation between the deck and the structure, which results in a more pleasant walking noise.
• With the provided spacer, you keep the same gap of four to seven millimeter between the boards. That way, you get a perfect looking wooden deck.

HIDDEN FASTENING SYSTEM

Don't want any visible screws? Then the Hapax Fixing pro is the way to go. With this system, your deck gets that sleek look.

• You can use the Hapax Fixing Pro with every type of wood decking board. There is no need for special milled grooves in the boards.
• You can choose between two kits with  C2 stainless steel screws or A4 stainless steel screws. That's why you can use this kit in almost every kind of wood.
• The Hapax Fixing Pro seperates the decking board form the structural beams. This provides an ideal ventialtion and avoids moisture setteling between the wood.

TIP: Use spacers

When installing a wooden deck you better use our Hapax Spacers. Between two boards you must keep a small gap. When the wood expands or swells under the influence of temperature and moisture, the spacing between the boards takes up the slack. With the spacer, you always have the same spacing between the boards.

ON SOLID SURFACES

On a non-water permeable surface such as a concrete slab or a flat roof, it is best to use our Hapax Atlas supports.

• The height of the decking support can be easily adjusted. This allows you to create a flat deck, even on a surface that is not completely flat.
• You can use the Hapax Atlas perfectly for a deck on a rubber roof. Because the supports are adjustable in height, you can accomodate the slope of the rubber roof.
• In addition to a wooden terrace, you can also lay tiles on the supports. There are adapted support plates for this purpose.
• The height of the Hapax Atlas supports ensures that water is always drained. So there is no risk of tiles loosening when it freezes.

REPLACES CONCRETE FOUNDATIONS

Is your deck on a place where there is solid soil? Then you can use the Hapax Rock screw foundations.

• The plastic foundations do not rot in contact with the soil. That guarantees a long life span. After a number of years, you can replace the wood deck and the joists, without having to replace the foundation.
• You can screw the Hapax Rock foundations in the earth. No need for digging or pouring concrete. This speeds up the installation of the foundation.
• The foundations out of polypropyleen can be easily recycled when they are no longer used.

IN CASE OF A WATER-PERMEABLE FOUNDATION

Do you prefer tu use a foundation out of stones or sand blinding? It is advised to use EPDM pads underneath your wood joist.

• The EPDM pads seperate the soil and the wood. This extends the life span of the wood construction.
• The pads provide damping. This reduces impact noises and makes the deck pleasant to walk on.
• De pads zorgen voor een demping. Hierdoor heb je minder contactgeluid en loopt het terras aangenamer.
• The EPDM pads can absorb small differences in the foundation. This way, they do not give problems in the deck.
