S-IRW: when it freezes

Winter chemical anchor S-IRW by pgb-Europe

Freezing temperatures

A lot of construction sites come to a standstill when it freezes. But fortunately, at such a time you can rely on the winter edition of our chemical anchor. It has been tested to a temperature of minus 26 degrees. So you can continue to work without worries when the temperature drops. The chemical anchor is immediately usable and has a fast curing time.

Usage

The chemical anchor consists of two components. These components are specially formulated for use in cold temperatures. In the cartridge, the two components, a resin and a hardener, are kept separate. These two components are mixed in the mixing nozzle. That is why it is important to have the two components mixed well before inserting the chemical anchor. Before you insert it into the drilled hole, both components must form a homogeneous grey mass. Test this before you insert it into the hole.

This chemical anchor is suitable for the most extreme situations. It has been tested for use in earthquake-prone areas and in cracked concrete. You can even insert it when the drill hole is filled with water. In this way you have almost no reason to shut down the worksite. Is the work finished and do you have any left? You can still keep the chemical anchor if you close the cartridge properly with the cap. If you want to continue, just put a new mixing nozzle on it.
