| The DIN 934 hexagon nut standard was withdrawn in 1992. These historical nuts should not be used for new or critical applications (e.g. tightening near or above the yield limit, dynamic loading). | DIN 934 has been replaced by ISO 4032. They are not interchangeable. The nominal diameter has been changed and for some nuts, the nut height has been changed. For M10-M12-M14-M22, the width across flats has been changed. The stainless steel types A4-50 and A4-70 are added. This only applies to the coarse pitch thread, the fine thread has been moved to ISO 8673. |
