Hapax wood screws are designed based on years of experience with the needs and requirements of the wood industry and are manufactured and packaged under strict quality standards. Their popularity among professional users is due to a lower screw-in torque combined with a high penetration speed.
Hapax screws owe these qualities to the unique, patented “triple head point” and the patented geometry of the recessed milling ribs under the head of the screw.
Furniture screws
Hapax furniture screws are not only user-friendly, they also guarantee a beautiful finish.
The Hapax PressFix HAWVTD is a screw with double thread for application in furnitures and kitchen carpentry. The double thread functions as a clamp when joining 2 plates. The Hapax triple thread point limits splitting and damaging of laminated panels and the special milling ribs ensure a flush damageless countersinking. The screw is made of zinc plated carbon steel and has a T20 stick-fit recess.
The Hapax HAMVTG is a self-drilling MDF screw for use in furniture and kitchen joinery. The reduced drill point ensures a splinter- and split-free finish, even on coated surfaces. Screwing close to the edge or end mounting of e.g. MDF panels are possible thanks to the slim design of this screw. The screw is made of galvanized carbon steel and has a T20 stick-fit recess.

- Uit roestvast staal C2 AISI 410: corrosieresistent en met de beste mechanische eigenschappen
- Uit roestvast staal A4 AISI 316: extra corrosieresistent, geschikt voor omgevingen waar chemische factoren inspelen (vb rond zwembaden, kustgebieden) of tegen de zuren in bepaalde hardhoutsoorten
Opgelet: nerveuse houtsoorten zijn niet geschikt voor een onzichtbare bevestiging.
Schroeven voor een zichtbare bevestiging (Hapax D-Pro)
- Made of stainless steel A2 AISI 304: most common wood screw for processing in hardwood, as this type combines excellent corrosion resistance with good mechanical properties
- Made of A4 AISI 316 stainless steel: extra corrosion-resistant, suitable for environments where chemical factors come into play (e.g. around swimming pools, coastal areas) or against the acids in certain types of hardwood
